Investment firm taps CRE veteran to lead new affiliate company, providing full-service owner’s construction management and oversight

Bethesda, MD — Boundary Companies, a private real estate investment firm, today announced the launch of Boundary Construction Experience (BCX). The new business line provides full-service owner’s construction management and oversight services for real estate developers, institutional investors, lenders, corporations, and government contractors.
“We are excited to launch BCX and offer construction management and oversight as part of the Boundary Companies’ core services,” stated John Wilkinson, Managing Partner of Boundary Companies. “In launching this new platform, BCX will leverage our construction management and institutional real estate experience to deliver best-in-class representation for our clients.” BCX will act as the primary construction representative for its clients, ensuring the vision and goals for the project are met through proactive management of the design and construction teams.
Dan Strotman, a veteran of the construction and commercial real estate industries, will join BCX as President. “I am excited to form this new venture with the Boundary team. We have a unique blend of institutional and commercial construction expertise that allows us to provide clients with outstanding representation”. Mr. Strotman has over 20 years of experience in project management, design, and construction of multi-family residential, commercial and industrial properties. Prior to BCX, Mr. Strotman managed the Gilbane Building Company’s portfolio of General Dynamics’ projects and held senior positions at Orr Partners, The Meridian Group, Quadrangle Development and Turner Construction Company.
